As a two-time breast cancer survivor I have done a lot of work on managing my mental state to get through tough cancer treatments. Each day I search for joy in my work and my community of friends and family. I exercise daily and read books that will help me get through infusion, waiting room and scan anxiety. Below is a book I recommend to my fellow cancer patients, survivors, thrivers and their caretakers.  I found this book particulary helpful and listened to it on my daily walks. It helped me to deal with my constant worry about the future. An excerpt is below.
