In 2009, Ms. Keresztes Founder of My Girls Skin Care launched the My Girls Gala Inc. hosted by Shreve, Crump & Low Boston with Tina Sutton, Fashion Editor with the Boston Globe, to celebrate those who had endured a breast cancer diagnosis. It was to be the first fashion fundraiser for breast cancer research to feature the strength and endurance of breast cancer survivors themselves on the runway. It was also a way to give back to Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center who had treated her and her mother for breast cancer.
Wearing Chikara Design by Hilary Boyajian- uniquely designed fashions created specifically for breast asymmetry that comes with a mastectomy, lumpectomy, radiation therapy or reconstructive surgery.
All proceeds from the event were donated to Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Clinical Research.
